We have been "owned" by Abys since our first experience with one in 1982. These delightful, intelligent, curious and personable cats are an important part of our home and family.
We have adapted our home and lives to revolve around our
cats.
We are on a treed acreage with views of lake, deer and other animals, and many birds.
We do not cage our cats. Our females are free to explore and our males have their own areas with vinyl screens
dividing the rooms rather than solid walls. This allows them
to be part of the daily activities and to watch the moms and kittens play.
Our kittens are healthy and well socialized. They are
usually delivered in the bedroom where they remain for several weeks until they are ready to eat solid food and
learn to use the litter box. At this point they are moved to
the kitten room where they may socialize with other kittens.
Although we occasionally have kittens available for placement in suitable homes, we are selective about who we allow to purchase our kittens. Our cats are not simply breeding animals but are part of our family.
We feed only a nutritionally balanced diet of high quality foods. We also feed fresh chicken meal made from a recipe available online at www.felinefuture.com
